British and Irish Lions coach, Warren Gatland has selected four Scottish players to play Japan at Murrayfield on Saturday the 26th of June 2021.
South African born, Duhan van der Merwe was one of the starlets alongside Warrick Gelant for Hoërskool Outeniqua team that beat Grey College back in 2013. The winger is now a citizen of Scotland and plays for the national team as well as Edinburgh.
The British and Irish Lions are favourites going into their match against a well organized Japan side.
Scrumhalf, Conor Murray will feed Welshman Dan Biggar at flyhalf. Speedster, Liam Williams will start at fullback, alongside Josh Adams and Robbie Henshaw.
The match is scheduled to kick off on Saturday 26 June at 16:00.
