Monaco v PSG
Monaco – who have generally been quite inconsistent this season – strung together successive wins prior to the international break to improve their footing in the Ligue 1 table but they are now tasked with entertaining the reigning champions and runaway leaders. PSG have recorded wins to nil in their last four league games despite some injury troubles and they have conceded just three goals all season in Ligue 1. Matches between these two are typically high-scoring though, with an average of 4.5 being scored in the last 11 meetings, so backing Over 3.5 Goals could be worth a go here.
Stade Rennais v Bordeaux
Rennes fans will be hoping that the international break has reinvigorated their team as they have been enduring a rough time of it since their excellent start in the early weeks of the season. They have won just once in their last seven games in all competitions and have lost their last two games 3-0 against Chelsea and PSG respectively. The visit of Bordeaux is a decidedly easier fixture though, and they will be buoyed by the fact that their opponents have also failed to find the net in their last two matches. The hosts could sneak a narrow win here to spark an improved run of form but the recommendation here is to back against both teams scoring given the lack of creative spark up front recently for either side.
