Pitso reigns supreme in Egypt

Pitso Mosimane won his first trophy in Egypt as he guided Al Ahly to the Egyptian Premier League title.

The 56-year-old tactician resigned from Sundowns after guiding them to the treble, which included the ‘La Decima’.

He announced and immediately joined Al Ahly at the end of September after the club parted ways with Swiss coach Rene Weiler. Arriving at the club, Mosimane just had four league matches remaining and went undefeated as the Cairo-based club clinched the title.

On Friday 27 November, Mosimane has the chance to add a second CAF Champions League winners medal as Al Ahly take on rivals Zamalek in the final.

Al Ahly are also on board to win the treble with a place in the Egyptian Cup quarter-final.
